Kamala’s Kornucopia

In July, Democratic presidential candidate Kamala Harris ascended to replace the removed DementiaJoe Biden, who essentially faced a mutiny, similar to Lt. William Bligh of the HMS Bounty, and put overboard. And similar to Biden, the Harris campaign has limited the amounts of real interviews and the pressers that she has not done. She has been essentially segregated not only from the media, but also from the public. The ridiculous CNN interview doesn’t count. Nor does the ABC interview. Why? Because not only were they orchestrated, but they were recorded and strictly edited. To that end, Harris is on track to grant the fewest interviews of any major party presidential candidate in American History. And forget the weak excuse that it’s because she was coronated historically late. On the other hand, former President Donald John Trump, along with vice presidential candidate Senator JD Vance(D-OH), have been out pounding the pavement, making themselves available to the conservative news organizations, but also the the bootlicking, antagonistic, dregs of the coastal, corporate mainstream media.

On Wednesday night, September 18, 2024, Trump held a rally on Long Island in the Nassau County Veterans Memorial Coliseum, located in Uniondale. On a side note, the Coliseum was the home of my New York Islanders. Getting back on track…people had peacefully gathered the day before and hours before the rally in the parking lot. The Coliseum held approximately 16,500 and the building was SRO. There were an estimated 5,000 people watching the former president speak on giant screens in the parking lot. He began his speech around 7PM and finished at 8:45PM. Trump didn’t go to Trump Towers to be tucked in for the night. He made an appearance on Fox News’ “The Greg Gutfeld Show,” which started at 10PM. Not only was he absolutely engaging as he spoke about the issues, but he was hilarious. Trump smiled throughout the show, which he needs to do more of. He maybe approaching 80, but he doesn’t conduct himself in anyway shape or form like DementiaJoe or Harris, the word salad HOFer. And no reports of violence or fighting during the rally.

During whatever minuscule amount of interviews Harris has had, her campaigns handlers have carefully handpicked her spots, choosing for relatively safe and non-confrontational environments like the aforementioned interview with CNN’s Dana Bash where she was joined by her running mate, Governor Tim Walz(D-MN). Harris has also sat down with Philadelphia’s ABC affiliate, Spanish-language radio host Chiquibaby, and a panel of the National Association of Black Journalists (NABJ). Nothing but softball questions to promote her flip-flopping and covering up her incompetence, cackling and word salads.

Furthermore, when Harris was asked a question about her support for slavery reparations by the NABJ panel, she responded in her typical word salad: “We need to speak truth about the generational impact of our history, in terms of the generational impact of slavery, the generational impact of redlining, of Jim Crow laws. I could go on and on and on. These are facts that have impact, and we need to speak truth about it. And we need to speak truth about it in a way that’s about deriving solutions.” An interesting follow-up question would have been about her family history as slave owners. Harris descended from a slave owner named Hamilton Brown, who was born in Ireland (1776-Sept. 18th, 1843), who immigrated to Jamaica. Brown is Harris’ great-great-great-great-great grandfather who owned slaves in Jamaica. It is also likely that Harris’s great-great-great-great-great grandmother was his house slave. This is an ancestral fact shared by many African Americans. I have a more thorough blog regarding reparations coming out soon. Conversely, former President Donald John Trump has done at least three times as many interviews in the same period, with some lasting at least an hour. As a case in point, Trump’s one-on-one over X Spaces with Tesla and SpaceX CEO Elon Musk, went for well over an hour, without any script or editing. It was done live. Meanwhile, vice presidential candidate Vance has become a regular guest on the Sunday morning network public affairs programs. Moreover, Trump is going to interviews where lions fear to tread. He also sat for a live interview, which was more like an inquisition, with a rather large audience, with the aforementioned NABJ. From the word go, Trump was vociferously challenged by ABC News correspondent Rachel Scott. Trump said he was invited under false pretenses as she kept him from answering her questions. Not one softball question for Trump.

With election day staring at us like a deer staring at headlights, the gridlock in Congress is nothing new. However, the dysfunction has reached new levels, despite a plethora of continued empty promises to fix the mess in Washington. It’s apparent that too many members of the Congress seem more focused on securing their next headline, or keeping their jobs, than on serving the American people. In the halls of power, self-preservation is the main focus of the day. Corruption isn’t always about backroom deals or brown paper envelopes, it is as simple as politicians putting themselves ahead of the people who sent them to the swamp. And things only got worse after January, 2021.

And the last four years under the Biden-Harris administration, who is easily the worst Executive Branch in American History, has seen skyrocketing inflation rates, both consumer and wholesale since January 2021;a failed supply chain, especially during the Wuhan pandemic when Secretary of Transportation Pete Buttigieg disappeared for three months due to maternity leave; the torpedoing of the energy sector as Biden and Harris flipped the US from energy independence to energy dependence as gas and oil prices soared, which resulted in the wars with The Ukraine and Russia, also Israel and Hamas; this administration’s failure to secure both the southern and northern borders to the tune of over ten million illegal aliens, which resulted in at least a 30% spike in populations, rising crime rates, homicides and the literal invasions of states, sanctuary cities and now small towns, whose populations spiked and are unprepared.

Springfield, Ohio is a prime example. Immigrants from Haiti have poured into Springfield the last five years, and the estimates grow monthly, with city officials now saying the number could be 15,000 to 20,000 new residents among a population that had numbered just under 60,000 prior. The number of immigrants has strained city government, health care, schools, social services, with government funded nonprofit organizations trying to provide assistance. Mayor Rob Rue stated that “Springfield is now saturated.” And no help from the Biden-Harris administration, the same way they have screwed over New York City. And apparently no help from the Springfield city government.

Furthermore, there’s the miserable reality of this administration’s foreign policies. Just ask former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates for his take on Biden’s career long list of foreign policy failures…five decades worth of one disaster after another. But Biden saved the worst for last, and Harris made the claim that she was the last one in the situation room as DementiaJoe made the decision, against his military leadership’s recommendations, to retreat from Afghanistan. And to compound the situation, Biden threw his generals under the bus as he lied regarding the suggestions.

Besides dropping the ball with the Israel-Hamas/Houthis/Hezbolah/Islamic Jihad-Iran war, by not fully siding with Israel, tepid at best, and supporting the pro-Hamas protests across the country and in elite progressive universities, there’s Afghanistan. This is another prime example of the Biden-Harris foreign policy disasters, which happened in August, 2021, with the retreat from Afghanistan, which resulted in the deaths of 13 US service-members, along with hundreds of other casualties from a homicide bomber, will long be remembered as one of the biggest disasters during the Biden-Harris administration. Harris had been front and center as Biden had orchestrated America’s retreat from Afghanistan. She attended most of his security briefings and intelligence sessions as the Taliban rapidly gained control over the country. Biden had Ashraf Ghani, the former Afghan president until 2021, lie about the combat capability of his country’s military. It buckled hours after the Taliban attacked. The Biden-Harris administration authorized the extraction of military personnel ahead of Americans and Afghan civilians, who assisted the US military and who remain in Afghanistan. The ISISK homicide bomber, who had been locked up, but released by the Taliban, was sighted by US sniper units. They requested permission to eliminate the threat, but the US military chain of command failed. Biden also stated that his generals advised him that the boots on the ground should be removed. That was a lie. If one can locate a picture of the Taliban’s fighting capabilities, the $86 billion worth of US military equipment left behind turned them into a modern army. And let’s not forget the disgusting picture of Lyin”Joe checking his watch on the tarmac during the return of the deceased soldiers. The execution of the withdrawal will also be added to Harris’ scorecard. Lastly, Harris has repeatedly maintained that she was the last one in the room before Biden made his decision, and felt comfortable with the plan. And Lyin’Joe still maintains that no American soldiers died on his watch!! Tell that to the Gold Star families! RIP!

And the Biden-Harris administration have yet to apologize, nor admit their mistake.

Moving on, economic savant Dave Ramsey highlighted the disconnect between the Harris campaign’s optimistic rhetoric and the harsh financial realities many young people face today. With rent prices skyrocketing and wages stagnating, Harris is pushing policies that could offer marginal relief at best. Ramsey’s response was unequivocal: “No, because it’s artificial. It’s not sustainable.” The aforementioned disconnect between Harris’ optimistic financial rhetoric and the harsh financial realities are what many families face today. With rent prices skyrocketing and wages stagnating, Harris is pushing price control. Just ask former President Richard Nixon how well price controls went, as it blew up in his face. The annual census reports on poverty, income, and health insurance coverage show how Americans’ progress has stagnated over the past four years, thanks to Bidenomics and the Inflation Reduction Act. It explains why families consider the economy, and the nation, to be in such poor shape, a problem that Harris’ socialist/communist policies would only make things worse. And no real substantial pay raises during the Biden-Harris economic crisis.

By looking deeper into the census data tables, specifically the income report, and the problem becomes clearer. Inflation-adjusted household income in 2023 remained marginally below the 2019 pre-pandemic levels. That means Americans have missed out on four years of pay raises, to the tune of thousands of dollars: Trump: 2019: $81,210 & 2020: $79,560 ($1,650 less than 2019 thanks to the pandemic). And now Biden: 2021: $79,260 ($1,950 less than 2019); 2022: $77,540 ($3,670 less than 2019);2023: $80,610 ($600 less than 2019). Under the Biden-Harris administration, Americans lost a total of $7,870 in household income over the last four years compared to what they would have had if household income had remained at 2019 levels for that entire period during the Trump years. But the Biden-Harris administration torpedoed the economy through poor decisions, spending money we didn’t have, printing money for spending programs that cost the taxpayers big time: illegal aliens and forgiving college loans. And there’s no way Kamala can explain away or defend Bidenomics, the Inflation Reduction Act, amongst other things they botched. As reported by Newsmax, former President Donald John Trump said that the Federal Reserve’s half-point interest rate cut this week was needed but also indicates a “political move” to keep Democrats in the White House.

Even Biden stated that the country is not “just there yet” regarding economic recovery. As for Harris, she held a town hall meeting, in Detroit with Oprah as the moderator, along with Julia Roberts, Meryl Streep and Chris Rock checking in from their mansions. People also had the opportunity to ask questions virtually. One couple asked how she planned to lower the cost of living. Harris began to answer with her usual word salad: “Your’s is a story I hear around the country as I travel…and both having the right to rightly have aspirations and dreams and ambitions for your family, and working hard for the American dream is far more elusive for this generation than its been,”….blah, blah and talked about what price gouging is and she will bring down prices, but without stating how. She was essentially talking about price controls and going on ridiculous tangents. The Democrats still believe in using the entertainment elite in an attempt to influence voting. They don’t realize that those coastal elites have zero in common with middle class Americans. And when you try to listen to Harris, it’s like listening to a third grader reading a book report about a book she didn’t read. By the way, she never answered the question!!

During the meeting, Winfrey was forced into maneuvering Harris to get to the point during a rambling response to a policy question posed by the audience. At one point in the evening, Harris was questioned about what she would do to secure the southern border, being that she is a major player in failing to secure the border. “So it’s a wonderful and important question. I, you know, my background was as a prosecutor, and I was also the elected Attorney General for two terms of the border state. So this is not a theoretical issue for me. This is something I’ve actually worked on,” Harris began in her three-minute diatribe that ended with trashing Republicans for not ratifying the bipartisan border bill. And let’s not forget that it was the Biden-Harris administration that invited the illegal aliens into the country and dragged their feet on immigration reform laws, which wasn’t really necessary if this administration simply adhered to Federal law and kept the Trump immigration policies in place. Since being crowned, Harris has had six total media interviews before the livestream with Winfrey, which puts her on track to be the fewest of any recent presidential nominee. And still no real pressers.

In continuing to hide from public situations where she would have to speak, the New York Post reported that Harris has decided to avoid former President Donald John Trump and skip this year’s Al Smith Dinner, which is a major election year event that generations of candidates have attended. She has become the first presidential hopeful to avoid the dinner since failed presidential candidate Walter Mondale(D) on October 18, 1984, running against President Ronald Reagan, who had this to say about his opponent: “I must say, I have traveled the banquet circuit for many years. I’ve never quite understood the logistics of dinners like this, and how the absence of one individual could cause three of us to not have seats. [Laughter] But that’s enough of that. [Laughter].” Reagan defeated Mondale, and for that election, Senator Ted Kennedy(D-MA) recruited the Russians to assist in defeating the incumbent president. Sounds familiar with the Russians assisting the Democrats in an election year? Harris will be campaigning.

It has been a tradition for both presidential candidates to attend the dinner, at which the contenders take turns giving speeches roasting each other since Vice President Richard Nixon(R) and Senator John F. Kennedy(D-MA) appeared together in 1960. Archbishop Francis Joseph is standing next to the GOP candidate.

So, when Harris is asked a direct question regarding policy, she either doesn’t know what she’s talking about or she is covering up her true position, being that she flip-flopped on an overwhelming majority of her political agenda, especially fracking…progressive authoritarianism or marxism. Therefore, ask yourself if we are better off than four years ago. If it wasn’t for the Wuhan pandemic, we would be celebrating former President Donald John Trump’s second term.
