“To my fellow citizens, America is back,” President Donald John Trump declared at the start of his speech to the Congress. “Six weeks ago, I stood beneath the dome of this Capitol and proclaimed the dawn of the Golden Age of America,” he said. “From that moment on, it has been nothing but swift and unrelenting action to usher in the greatest and most successful era in the history of our country. We have accomplished more in 43 days than most administrations accomplished in four years or eight years. And we are just getting started.” The four and eight year references were thinly veiled slights that definitely focused on Biden and Obama.
Over the course of American History, there have been more than enough speeches made in Washington, DC and throughout the US. Since we are in POTUSDJT’s “American First” sphere, we have had dynamic, meaningful and memorable words from George Washington, Patrick Henry, Abraham Lincoln, Frederick Douglass, Teddy Roosevelt, Lou Gehrig, Franklin Roosevelt, Harry Truman, Douglas MacArthur, John Fitzgerald Kennedy, Martin Luther King, Jr., Richard Nixon, Ronald Reagan, Geraldine Ferraro and now we can add Donald John Trump to the list of noteworthy and important speeches. The man was on his game during his speech in the Congressional Chamber. A total one-eighty from the four years of DementiaJoe’s mumbles, stumbles, blank stares and shaking hands with an imaginary friend.
Just under eight weeks into his second term, President Donald John Trump addressed the Congress. In a dynamic, powerful and concise speech that lasted over 90 minutes, he covered a plethora of issues, accomplishments and a vision for the future…”Common Sense!” One area he covered was securing the southern border. POTUSDJT stated that the Biden administration and the Democrats were pushing new legislation in order to close the border. Under this President, in just over six weeks we have regained control of the border after Biden’s disastrous open border policy, which permitted over 20 million illegal aliens to illegally enter the US. And President Trump said the only thing needed was a new president. Correct. As the Republicans enthusiastically cheered, the progressive Democrats sat on their hands, displayed auction style signs with words of protest and interrupted the President of the United States like spoiled children who didn’t get their way and representing nothing except resistance to whatever Trump said or did. But as usual, the progressive left did not have an answer.
The question before the speech began was how many Democrats would boycott? How would the Democratic members dress, including writing on their clothes? Would the Democrats hoot and holler, or maybe march out in an organized protest? Well, a little bit of each happened. One absolutely disrespectful insult to President Donald John Trump, and to the Office of the President, was the shenanigans of Representative Al Green (D-TX), and not the musician. Speaker of the House Mike Johnson ordered the Sergeant at Arms to remove Green after he repeatedly shouted during Trump’s opening remarks. “Members are engaging in willful and continuing breach of decorum, and the chair is prepared to direct the Sergeant at Arms to restore order to the joint session,” Johnson warned as a handful of Democrats repeatedly disrupted POTUSDJT’s speech, with Green being the most egregious. Despite receiving numerous warnings, Green continued shouting and shaking his cane at Trump. Eventually, Johnson ordered the Sergeant at Arms to remove Green from the chambers. Green, one of Trump’s most vocal critics, already has filed impeachment articles against Trump over what he called “ethnic cleansing in Gaza.” So, you know where Green stands in regard to Israel defending herself against Hamas, Houthis, Hezbollah, Islamic Jihad and Iran. Green was censured and entered into the Congressional Record.
Following up the Democratic debacle, members of the House voted along party-lines to censure Representative Al Green(D-TX) for repeatedly heckling President Donald John Trump during his presidential address to a joint session of the Congress. In a 224-198 vote, the lower chamber censured Green, 77, formally denouncing him for a breach of decorum during the marquee address. Green is now the 28th lawmaker to have been censured in US history. Even as the vote was being held, a number of Democrats were not following Speaker Johnson’s instructions.
The Democrats who voted for censure included Representatives Ami Bera(CA), Ed Case(HI), Jim Costa(CA), Laura Gillen(NY), Jim Himes,(CONN) Chrissy Houlahan(PA), Marcy Kaptur(OH), Jared Moskowitz(FL), Marie Gluesenkamp Perez(WASH), and Tom Suozzi(NY). It’s worth noting that three of these Democrats – Kaptur, Suozzi, and Gluesenkamp Perez – represent districts that Trump won in November.
There were numerous disgraceful, insensitive and offensive acts by the left as POTUSDJT saluted DJ Daniel, the 13 year old young man, who is an eight year brain cancer survivor, who wants to be a police officer and was made an honorary member of the Secret Service; saluted the mother of 12 year old Jocelyn Nungaray who was sexually assaulted and murdered by strangulation when two illegal aliens in their 20s lured the young girl under a bridge in Texas before killing her in June 2024; saluted the mother of Laken Reilly, age 22, who was beaten to death by an illegal alien while out for a run while attending the University of Georgia in February, 2024 and POTUSDJT signed the Laken Reilly Act into law; saluted the wife of NYPD Detective 1st Grade Jonathan Diller, who was killed in the line of duty while making a car stop by a recidivist felon on March 25, 2024 in Far Rockaway, Queens, NY; saluted Jason Hartley, whose father died in August 2018, and who worked as a Los Angeles County sheriff’s deputy, was accepted into the USMA at West Point and finally saluted a CBP Officer Roberto Cruz who saved his partner as they were under fire at the southern border. And not one bit of applause or cheering for having been honored guests of the First Family. On a side note, DJ Daniel gave a fist pump to Hartley, who was accepted into West Point. Two happy moments.
As reported by the New York Post, and on a side note, and to illustrate just how irrelevant the legacy mainstream media has become, as the father of Devarjaye “DJ” Daniel, the 13-year-old cancer survivor who was made an honorary US Secret Service agent during President Trump’s Congressional address, had no patience for Rachel Maddow undermining his son’s shining moment. “She needs to shut her mouth if she has nothing nice to say,” Theodis Daniel told The Post. Maddow called Trump “disgusting” for citing DJ and his cancer battle. This lady didn’t even serve time in the military,” he added. “I was on the USS Kitty Hawk. She does not need to put her bad energy on us.” Maddow is an overrated, overpaid, lying windbag. Her ratings like the rest of the mainstream media have absolutely tanked.
“Democrats used to be the party of compassion, the party that stood up for the vulnerable and celebrated stories of triumph over adversity,” recalls Borough of Queens City Councilman Robert Holden, but: “Now? We can’t even clap for a kid who beat cancer if the ‘wrong’ president is standing beside him.” They are petty, small and still can’t over the fact that they got stomped in the 2024 election.
And, as previously cited, President Donald John Trump repeatedly called out the previous administration, DementiaJoe specifically, for opening the border to 20 million illegal aliens, endorsing and supporting sanctuary cities and even, transporting them around on “Biden Airlines,” to airports outside major cities, such as Stewart Airport, which is located in New Windsor, which is in Orange County, NY, approximately 60 miles north of New York City.
And not one time did the progressive Democrats show any interest in bipartisan support of the people whose lives, and families, were changed forever. The left showed themselves to be insensitive and devoid of empathy. Even when DementiaJoe entered the chambers, the Republicans respectfully stood and applauded the Office of the President. Additionally, many of the Democratic members of the Congress seemed disinterested and distracted as the President was speaking. For example, Senator Elizabeth Warren(D-MA), Pocahontas herself, was sitting deep in thought with her cellphone.
One thing that definitely stirred the Democratic side of the room was when President Donald John Trump thanked the Department of Government Efficiency’s Elon Musk as he went down the rather extensive, and very expensive, list of where multiple billions of our tax dollars are sent, wasted, disappears and misappropriated when that money was so badly needed here. While some of the outgoing funding appears to be beneficial for the betterment of the international community, an overwhelming majority of the money was sent to Democratic pork barrel projects that are pushed by governmental lobbyists, that go against the US, or are absolutely ridiculous.
During his Congressional address, President Donald John Trump reiterated that during the 2024 campaign he repeatedly stated that he was tired of seeing civilians killed in the Ukraine-Russian war. He stated that he wanted peace in the Israel-Hamas conflict, but he clearly sides with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. The meeting with Ukraine President Volodomyr Zelenskyy went south as POTUSDJT was disrespected by the Ukraine PM’s attitude, mouth and attire…he showed up to the Oval Office in his fatigues instead of a suit and tie. Moreover, Zelenskyy came with his hands open expecting additional funding similar to the feeble and weak Biden administration’s standard operating procedure. And when he didn’t get the answer he expected and wanted, he lost his cool. Unfortunately, the dirty laundry was hung out in public and the bootlicking dregs of the corporate mainstream media and the radical, progressive Democratic left attempted to rake POTUSDJT over the coals without fully acknowledging the difficulty he faced with the leftover mess as he resoundingly won the White House over Kamala Harris, easily the worst candidate the Democratic Party had to offer and the torpedoed DementiaJoe. The Democrats and their bootlicking lapdog mainstream media dragged out the Hillary Clinton funded Trump-Russian collusion accusations, which was debunked by the Robert Mueller investigation years ago.
In a long ago interview, former President Richard Nixon understood the importance that the mainstream media played in his downfall and how they influenced how the political theater operated. He referred to the mainstream media and their support of a particular candidate, politician or issue as: “Advocacy journalism.” That is a clear definition of the bootlicking, dregs of the corporate, coastal, legacy mainstream media!
President Donald John Trump pointed at the progressive left, and the mainstream media, who refuse to acknowledge that the Ukraine-Russia and Israel-Hamas conflicts fell squarely on the shoulders of Biden and his career long failed foreign policies and relations…just ask Obama’s Secretary of Defense Robert Gates who wrote in his autobiography that in the decades he has known Biden, his foreign policies were a major failure. And it all started with the shut down of the domestic energy sector, which opened the market for Russia and Iran. And not any reaction from the right side of the House Chambers.
Zelenskyy was essentially thrown out of the White House because of his mouth. He had met with the English and French and it dawned on him that the Ukraine needs the US to defeat Russia or at least a ceasefire leading into peace. POTUSDJT announced that he received a letter from Zelensky asking to come back to the table in order to negotiate and correct the differences that came to be at the White House. At that time it appeared that the mineral deal with the Ukraine and the US was kaput. Trump said that in the letter Zelensky stated that he was ready to come to the negotiating table as soon as possible to bring lasting peace, and that nobody wants peace more than the Ukrainians. Moreover, Zelensky stated that Kyiv would sign the mineral deal with the US at the most convenient time for President Donald John Trump. Furthermore, the president stated that he appreciated the letter and is getting signals from Russian Prime Minister Vladimir Putin that they also are ready for peace. If this treaty floats with the Ukraine, any US interests will serve as a buffer to prevent any further incursions by the Russians. Lastly and Zelensky‘s letter he wrote “It is regrettable that it happened this way. It is time to make things right.”
One other additional piece of good news that POTUSDJT shared during his speech was the capture of the mook who planned the August 2021 Abbey Gate bombing in Kabul Airport that killed 13 US service members and 168 Afghans trying to flee the Taliban. In 2023, a retired US Marine sergeant testified before the Congress that his sharpshooter team had the bomber in sight and requested permission to eliminate the target, which was denied and no one up the chain of command to ask. And let’s flash back to arguably the worst foreign policy decision DementiaJoe has ever made. He “encouraged” Afghan President Ashraf Ghani to lie about the readiness of that country’s military, which lasted all of a blink of an eye when the Taliban attacked. Furthermore, US generals told Biden to leave at least 2,500 troops on the ground in order to protect any civilians to be transported out of Afghanistan. He ordered the retreat of US military personnel before any civilians had whatever evacuation avenues remained.
The remains of the aforementioned 13 service members were returned home to the Dover AFB in Delaware. As the plane was unloaded, Biden stood on the tarmac looking at his watch. Moreover, he had kept the Gold Star families waiting as he was napping and then attempted to compare the loss of Beau Biden(cancer) to those who died in the service of the country. What an insensitive, self-serving, self-centered, cognitively bankrupt Biden was and remains. And don’t forget the years of coverups of his cognitive decline. Prior to publicly announcing the capture, the president shared the news with the families of the fallen, who have been waiting for accountability both for the savage suicide attack by ISIS-K and for the diplomatic and military debacle wrought by the Biden administration. And the Democrats in attendance during POTUSDJT’s speech did not stand. And Biden did not name one of the service members who were killed, as oppose to POTUSDJT who knew the names and met for hours with the Gold Star families for hours. Biden and his administration? What a disgrace!
The 45th President of the United States Donald John Trump was basically spring training for the 47th President of the United States Donald John Trump. The man who was on the podium in the chambers is a president at the top of his game. POTUSDJT was sharp, clear-eyed and confident about himself and his agenda as he gave lessons in presidential leadership in what was a speech for the ages. And the progressive Democrats clearly demonstrated to the country, and the world, that their words are angry, empty and irrelevant. The president went line-by-line through his plans. If the progressive left were going to conduct themselves like children, POTUSDJT was going to treat them as such, as he blamed them for failed soft-on-crime tendencies that have turned our cities into war zones. The president took a victory lap, and made sure the Democrats knew he was back during what is now the longest address before a joint session of Congress. All they showed that they are against anything President Donald John Trump. Damn..doesn’t that sound good!
At the completion of President Donald John Trump’s speech to the joint session of the Congress, according to a CBS News/YouGov poll, an overwhelmingly majority of viewers approved of his words. The survey showed that 76% of viewers included in the survey approved Trump’s speech while 23% disapproved. Additionally, 68% of respondents said the speech made them feel “hopeful” and 54% said they felt “proud,” while 27% said they were “worried” and 16% responded with “angry.”When asked to describe how Trump came off in the speech, 74% of respondents said he was both “presidential” and “entertaining” while 71% said he was “inspiring,” 62% responded with “unifying” and 46% said he was “divisive.” A majority 68% also believed that Trump appeared to have a clear plan for inflation, while 77% approved of POTUSDJT’s plans for ending government spending waste with DOGE and ending the incursion of illegal aliens. Additionally 73% are in favor of his plans for the Ukraine-Russia war and another 65% supporting his tariffs on foreign goods. These polls numbers are a clear indicator as to why President Donald John Trump won the White House and why the Republicans won the Congress. This was a clear referendum by the voting public with their dissatisfaction with the failed Biden administration and their anti-American policies as evidenced by POTUSDJT sweeping the popular vote, the electoral college and winning all seven battlefield states. And at this point, the Democrats can boo, jeer or show their contempt, but they ain’t got nothing.
