The President Donald John Trump showed that he was steps ahead of his critics, accomplished what Biden could, or would, not be able to do, while sending the message that the United States of America was practicing peace through strength.
The military/law enforcement action taken by the United States reverberated through the latest news cycle focusing on the arrest and collapse of a dictator’s grip and is a historic moment. Throughout the Latin sphere, the reaction to the US focus on Venezuela has been raw, emotional, and jubilant. Families who fled Venezuela, similar to Communist Cuba, escaped hunger and repression are celebrating. Political dissidents who risked imprisonment, or who are imprisoned, are exhaling. For millions across Latin America, the downfall of a regime synonymous with misery is being celebrated like a new birth of freedom.
US forces executed a textbook operation to arrest Venezuelan dictator Nicolás Maduro, grabbing him and his wife Cilia Flores from their Caracas bedroom during a mission involving 150 aircraft launching from 20 bases, with troops from every military branch coordinating by sea, air, and ground. The narcoterrorist is no longer a wanted criminal with a $50 million State Department bounty on his head for narco-terrorism, conspiracy and cocaine importation. He was flown out of the country to face American justice. President Donald John Trump stated Venezuela must be restored to “law and order” and economic discipline before any talk of elections, following the dramatic US operation that ended with the arrest of Maduro. The mission was completed in under two hours.
In regards to the actions rightly authorized by President Donald John Trump to replace Maduro, the now former dictator of Venezuela, the radical, progressive left, the bootlicking dregs of the corporate, legacy mainstream media, along with the unhinged TDS afflicted Democrats have perpetuated the fabrication that Congressional approval was required. Not so, according to Article Two of the Constitution, which established the executive branch of the federal government and is responsible for enforcing laws. And Cuba was getting the oil on the cuff because they supported Maduro with armed forces. And yes, despite the hissy fits, and accusations, from the radical, progressive left, the bootlicking dregs of the legacy, corporate mainstream media, the unhinged TDS afflicted Democrats and the protesters with their professional, premade signs, oil money will play a factor in restoring Venezuela to her once prominent place in South America to the benefit of her citizens. It was reported that Caracas was as gorgeous as NYC after Mayor Giuliani cleaned up the city. And now?
As of December 17, 2025, Venezuela’s annual inflation rate has surged to 556%, up significantly from 219% in June. This sharp rise is largely attributed to intensified US sanctions on Venezuela, particularly on oil-related transactions. The Venezuelan bolívar, money, has been losing value rapidly, further driving up prices for essential goods and services. And don’t forget that in July, 2024, the Biden-Harris administration had suspended sanctions on Venezuela with Maduro’s promise of a free and fair election if the opposition could participate in competitive a presidential election, which was according to a deal secretly signed in Qatar, dated September 29, 2023. The sanctions were reinstated in opposition to Maduro claiming a 2024 election victory. POTUSDJT stressed that Venezuela’s economy is on the brink following decades of plunder and mismanagement by the socialists. Moreover, an overwhelming majority(90%) of the country’s population lives below the poverty line and the average person has lost approximately 25 pounds since Maduro took over.
The Trump administration 1.0 had imposed broad sanctions against the Maduro government, the state oil company PDVSA, the country’s central bank, the gold mining sector, and the purchasing of Venezuelan debt. The Trump administration cited anti-democratic actions and human rights violations and abuses. Biden undid them. Beginning in January 2021, the Biden-Harris Administration had eased every possible sanction on the Maduro government, released corrupt associates of Maduro from US prisons, failed to sanction a single individual tied to the regime, and failed to rally the European Union to increase pressure on Maduro. The Biden-Harris Administration’s policies all but encouraged Maduro to steal this election, and he knew there would have been zero consequences.
It’s fascinating that American history’s worst presidential candidate actually decided to throw her nickel(no more pennies) in regarding the actions taken by a functioning and operationally superior administration. Kamala “The word salad queen” Harris was performing like she was actually OUTRAGED that President Donald John Trump would actually arrest the narco-terrorist, by posting things like this: “Donald Trump’s actions in Venezuela do not make America safer, stronger, or more affordable. That Maduro is a brutal, illegitimate dictator does not change the fact that this action was both unlawful and unwise. We’ve seen this movie before. Wars for regime change or oil that…”
However, if one takes a quick step back to the most pathetic administration in history, why did the Biden-Harris administration issue a $25 million bounty for the arrest of Maduro on January 1, 2025, just a few days before leaving office? The question that must be answered by those two incompetent and hypocritical politicians is why did they wait so long while failing to take into account thousands of deaths from overdoses, which hit record breaking numbers during their tenure.

From the beginning of Trump 2.0, the president had pushed border security and enforcement which has resulted in the lowest number of illegal alien arrests in 50 years. The Monroe Doctrine is a US foreign policy established in 1823 that opposes European colonialism in the Americas, asserting that any intervention by foreign powers in the political affairs of the Western Hemisphere would be viewed as a hostile act against the United States. It aimed to keep European nations from interfering in the newly independent countries of the Americas while the US promised not to interfere in European affairs. establishes the executive branch of the federal government. Additionally, at the time, many Latin American countries had just gained independence from European empires. Monroe wanted both to prevent Europe from reclaiming control and to assert US influence in the hemisphere.
The first direct challenge to the Monroe Doctrine came after France installed Emperor Maximilian in Mexico in the 1860s. After the end of the Civil War, France relented under US pressure and withdrew. This was cited in the 1969 movie, “The Undefeated,” which starred John Wayne and Rock Hudson.
In 1904, President Theodore Roosevelt, 26th POTUS, argued that the US should be allowed to intervene in unstable Latin American countries that became known as the ”Roosevelt Corollary,” which was a justification invoked in a number of places, including supporting Panama’s secession from Colombia, which subsequently helped secure the Panama Canal Zone for the US. TR declared that the US could intervene in Latin America to stabilize the region if nations there were unable to maintain order or pay international debts. It was basically an expansion of U.S. influence in the Western Hemisphere!
The post WWII-Cold War era saw the Monroe Doctrine invoked as a defense against communism, such as President John F. Kennedy’s demand in 1962 that Soviet missiles be withdrawn from Cuba, during the Cuban Missile Crisis. In 1981, President Ronald Reagan administration’s opposition to the leftist Sandinista government in Nicaragua resulted in the backing of the Contra rebels. In 1989, President George HW Bush authorized US military action (December 1989–January 1990) that centered on the invasion of Panama for the purposes of removing General Manuel Noriega, the country’s dictatorial de facto ruler, from power and extraditing him to the US to face charges of drug trafficking and money laundering. Noriega spent the rest of his life in the Federal prison system.
During the Noriega removal operation, 15,000 members of the military were involved, with 23 losing their lives and took ten days to grab him. There was bipartisan support at the time and the Democratic majority applauded Bush41. And the Congress was not informed due to potential leaks. The Maduro operation took a few hours, with two wounded, but with partisan support no support from the left. So, I guess they were just fine with the drugs being smuggled into the US.
And with Maduro opening his country’s borders to the draconian Communist Chinese Republic, the Russians, Iran and other global terrorist organizations, let’s not forget about the importation of fentanyl, methamphetamine, cocaine and other assorted narcotics that killed thousands of Americans. And let’s not overlook Maduro’s importation of millions of the illegal aliens he trafficked to the US.
So, it does seem that the aforementioned radical, progressive left, the bootlicking dregs of the corporate, legacy mainstream media, along with the unhinged TDS afflicted Democrats are more concerned with the welfare of a narcoterrorist drug lord, and the drugs that has killed thousands and poisoned the country, than the actual health, safety and welfare of the American people. This was a clear demonstration that the Democratic Party has moved so far left that it may not be able to moderate their policies and agenda.
As reported by Fox News, Secretary of State Marco Rubio jousted with ABC’s George Stephanopoulos, and Democratic shill, as the “This Week” host repeatedly pressed Rubio over whether the US was going to run Venezuela. Stephanopoulos asked Rubio what authority the US had to run Venezuela. “Well, first of all, what’s going to happen here is that we have a quarantine on their oil,” Rubio said. “That means their economy will not be able to move forward until the conditions that are in the national interest of the United States and the interest of the Venezuelan people are met. And that’s what we intend to do. So, that leverage remains. That leverage is ongoing. And we expect that it’s going to lead to results here.” Rubio added that the goal was to ensure Venezuela would no longer be “a narco-trafficking paradise” that aids US adversaries and to give Venezuelans a better future. “Let me ask the question again,” Stephanopoulos repeated. “What is the legal authority for the United States to be running Venezuela?” As usual, this Democratic shill absolutely refused to address the problems, and deaths, that resulted from the narcotics trade run by Maduro.
Shortly after the successful US military operation to capture Maduro, President Donald John Trump stated that Americans would have a presence in the South American country “as it pertains to oil.” POTUSDJT said American companies would need to rebuild Venezuela’s crumbling infrastructure before tapping into the nation’s rich oil reserves. Chevron is the only major US oil company currently operating in Venezuela. ConocoPhillips and Exxon Mobil both left Venezuela nearly 20 years ago when Maduro’s socialist predecessor, Hugo Chávez, nationalized their assets.
As reported by the World Israel News, as a further example of the growth global anti-Semitism, Delcy Rodriguez, Venezuela’s vice president, accused the US operation, which led to the arrest of Maduro and his wife, of having “Zionist undertones,” linking the targeted American strikes to the State of Israel. The US military executed “Operation Absolute Resolve,” striking targets across northern Venezuela and deploying special forces to Caracas to collar Maduro and his wife. The two were then flown to the US to face Federal narco-terrorism and drug trafficking charges, a move President Donald John Trump hailed as a major victory, adding that the US would temporarily “run” Venezuela until a peaceful and self-governing transition is possible, in addition to the retreat of our adversaries from Venezuela. But really…Israel in Venezuela? Maybe, maybe not!
In May of 2025, as reported by Fox News: “Nobody should be coming into the country illegally,” Senator Rick Scott (R-Fl)said. “Biden has ruined all this. He’s ruined the whole immigration process. He has tainted immigration. Now we have Maduro’s criminals that have come in, that he sent here. We have all the drug traffickers here. We have terrorists here. These people need to get out of the country. They’re here illegally. I want this country safe.” And despite the progressive Democrats maintaining that the illegals have the right to due process, they are leaving out one small bit of information, since they are illegal and crossed into the US illegally, therefore breaking domestic immigration laws, the illegal aliens do not have the right to “due process.” They are criminals.

In Doral, Venezuelan-Americans poured into the streets, many weeping openly. Multi-generations of trauma, of watching from the US as communists/socialists crushed their countries of origin, witnessed this single moment of decisive American action. In order to safeguard American sovereignty, it’s in the Western Hemisphere’s best interest to get rid of these narco terrorists that have been killing hundreds of thousands of Americans, Gimenez stated. Additionally, he noted that adversaries like Russia, the draconian Communist Chinese Republic, and Iran have used Venezuela, Cuba, and Nicaragua as bases of operation and training facilities in America’s backyard. And ask any family who has lost a loved one to drugs if they were against this action.
The socialist Democrats, to no one’s surprise, complained about process and congressional notification. They also complained about operation “Midnight Hammer,” which saw the destruction of Iran’s nuclear program. And let’s not forget that if President Donald John Trump had in fact informed the Congress, or made announcements like the Obama and Biden administrations regarding military operations, one of the anti-Trump unhinged Democrats would have run to the mainstream media and informed the world. What the radical, progressive left, the unhinged TDS Democrats and the legacy mainstream media ignore is that Venezuela’s communist government confiscated the infrastructures of the American energy companies and destroyed the national economy. Going by the numbers, Venezuela’s economy is worse than the US Great Depression of 1929. During the 1930’s the US GDP declined by 30%. Venezuela’s economy declined by 75%.
On a side note, the radical, progressive left and other anti-Israel have redefined Venezuela’s liberation into an Israel centric conspiracy, declaring that “Zionists cheer every regime change” because they “steal land, oil and other resources.” It was a breathtaking pivot. A dictator falls, and somehow the villain is Israel. Not corruption. Not tyranny. Not the architects of a failed socialist experiment. Israel. You can point fingers at the collective agenda from the communist, collective Mamdani, Candace Owens, who went off the rails, and other proponents of the radical, progressive left. This of course is a ridiculous stance. And if there is in fact some truth to Israel’s involvement, it is because of Iran.
POTUSDJT announced that Venezuela will sell up to 50 million barrels of oil to the US at “market price” and that he will control what the South American nation can do with the proceeds from the sale. “I am pleased to announce that the Interim Authorities in Venezuela will be turning over between 30 and 50 MILLION Barrels of High Quality, Sanctioned Oil, to the United States of America,” Trump posted on Truth Social. “This Oil will be sold at its Market Price, and that money will be controlled by the President of the United States of America, to ensure it is used to benefit the people of Venezuela and the United States!” he continued. And the radical, progressive left would rather see our adversaries benefit from the oil.
As shared by the NY Post, the idea is put Venezuela on a pro-democracy, free market government path, which could have the country reach its oil potential and lower energy costs on a global scale. This will end up bad news for Russia and Iran, who desire high oil prices to fund their adversarial agendas. In 2024, the CCR purchased approximately 568,000 barrels of oil per day from the Maduro government and are dependent on Venezuela to fuel its economy. Moreover, the Trump administration’s impounding of the “ghost tanker fleet” compromised Iran’s ability to avoid President Donald John Trump’s sanctions over its nuclear program and fund global terror organizations.
The removal of Maduro and the path which Venezuela takes is in the hands of the Venezuelan people, along with guidance from the Trump administration…the adults in the room…despite the insane allegations spewed by Chuckles Schumer and the watered down Obama, Hakeem Jefferies, along with the radical, progressive left. Venezuela will not be a re-run of DementiaJoe’s Afghanistan retreat and disaster. As a matter of fact, the interim president, Delcy Rodriguez, has made it known that she wants to cooperate with the US.
The Democrats as usual don’t know, or care, about history. They complain that President Donald John Trump did not inform them or get Congressional approval. In 1950, President Truman went into North Korea. In 1958, President Eisenhower sent the US Marines to Beirut. In 1961-62, JFK engaged the military in the Cuban missile crisis. In 1964, LBJ sent troops to Vietnam. And there are additional examples of the Chief Executive sending in the troops without Congressional approval. Yet when President Donald John Trump extracts a narco-terrorist without any US casualties, the radical progressive left, the legacy mainstream media and the unhinged TDS Democrats are screaming and crying. As I said, if they were informed, the whole world would have known…then there would be American casualties.
