Thank a Cop!

We are almost six months into the ineffective and failing presidential tenure of Joe Biden. When he “won” the 2020 election, I thought that there would be slim pickings to write about. I have to admit that I could not have been more wrong. Biden is like an all you can eat buffet, as he keeps on giving, while he constantly demonstrates his failing cognitive abilities. One of his main campaign points was voiding the Second Amendment. While I am not a gun guy, Biden, Harris and the rest of the orthodox, radical extremists of the socialist liberal left demand gun control. However, they are focusing on legal firearms ownership, but ignoring the use of illegal weapons. It’s not the legal gun owner who has turned New York City, Chicago, Los Angeles and other Democratic run cities into the “Wild, Wild West.” And yes, there should be the vetting of gun applications, but what about the criminal element and how they get their guns? Conversely, as the radical liberal extremist Democrats fail to address the double standard of revocation of the Second Amendment, the American taxpayer is footing the bill for their private armed bodyguards.

In a recent speech, Biden was advocating for more gun control. He was calling for an increase in background checks to prevent guns from getting in the hands of violent criminals when he made an odd digression about the Constitution. “And I might add: The Second Amendment, from the day it was passed, limited the type of people who could own a gun and what type of weapon you could own,” Biden interjected. “You couldn’t buy a cannon!” Huh! Shockingly, JoeBama made another historic faux pas.

“Everything in that statement is wrong,” said David Kopel, the research director and Second Amendment project director at the Independence Institute. Moreover, Kopel added that originally when the Second Amendment was ratified in 1791, “there were no federal laws about the type of gun you could own, and no states limited the kind of gun you could own,” contrary to Biden’s claim. Unbelievably, the bootlicking Washington Post’s fact-checker Glenn Kessler stated that Biden discredited his own efforts for gun control by citing false historical facts. And are the bad guys going to submit to a background check? Imagine Biden getting caught making a mistake!

During the 2020 campaign, Biden made a similar claim about cannons in the Revolutionary War and who could own them. The Second Amendment placed no limits on individual ownership of cannon, or any other arms. The first federal gun control law did not appear until the 20th century. Biden’s researchers do an absolute hideous job. The Second Amendment reads: “A well regulated Militia, being necessary to the security of a free State, the right of the people to keep and bear Arms, shall not be infringed.” National security!

And don’t forget that Robert Francis O’Rourke is Biden’s “Gun Czar.” If you forgot who O’Rourke is, just think of a failed Texas politician who goes by the nickname of “Beto.” He is a former Texas congressman who in 2018 ran, and lost, for a U.S. Senate seat against incumbent Senator Ted Cruz. (R-TX). O’Rourke tried a 2020 presidential run in March 2019, but he dropped out that November due to an inability to increase his support amid a crowded field of candidates. And people tried to actually compare this two time loser to President John Fitzgerald Kennedy. Funny stuff. Biden must love Russian aristocracy, as he favors Marxism, with calling Harris his “Border Czar” and O’Rourke as his “Gun Czar.” This two are not offering confidence to the country.

Senator Rand Paul (R-KY) wrote the following: “The United Nations is done with its dirty work finalizing the details of their so-called “Small Arms Treaty.” After locking-arms with China, the latest nation to join the Treaty, they’re looking to force the United States into submission next. Armed with the full backing of President Joe Biden — and gun grabbers seemingly a majority of the United States Senate — an all-out ratification showdown over the UN “Small Arms Treaty” is rapidly approaching.” The rhetorical question that begs to be asked: Why is the United States taking marching orders from the UN? The answer is simple: Look who is in the White House! We have a cognitive delinquent POTUS, who is told what to do and what to say!

There has been a noted spike in crime nationwide, once again in Democratic run cities, who are advocating for the defunding of law enforcement, along with no-bail policies. One of the main advocates for the defunding is everyone’s favorite bartender, Representative Sandy Ocasio-Cortez (D-NY). She told Americans who are worried about skyrocketing violent crime rates to calm down, and their concerns about the surging violence is just “hysteria.” “Hysteria?” Ocasio-Cortez is the definition of a hypocrite. Before I cite numbers, remember that she is pushing the “redistribution” of funding law enforcement. Moreover, she has personal ARMED bodyguards, as opposed to the public. As the former barkeep looks at statistics and informs people about their hysteria, she forgets that those statistics are real people…teenagers…seniors…families and children who are being fired upon or getting shot. Ocasio-Cortez the radical liberal socialist is nothing more than an empty-headed buffoon.

As reported by Blaze Media, Glenn Greenwald poked a hole in Ocasio-Cortez’s call for everyone to remain calm, and not panic over violent crime. “Just last month, “@AOC” had the power to stop $2B in additional funds for Capitol Police that Pelosi wanted,” Greenwald wrote on Twitter. All she had to do was vote ‘no’ – like Ilhan Omar, Cori Bush & Aryanna Pressley, with the GOP. Instead, she voted ‘present’ to get more police protection for herself. Ocasio-Cortez is mocking ordinary people as ‘hysterical’ who are afraid of violent crime in their neighborhood: people who, unlike her, don’t have reams of private security,” Greenwald pointed out. “Yet she just acted to ensure $2B more in spending on the police that protects her.” And let’s just think about her fictional war story regarding the January 6 “attempted insurrection” in Washington, DC.

Ocasio-Cortez had the audacity to Tweet, “I am happy to work with Republicans on this issue where there’s common ground, but you almost had me murdered 3 weeks ago so you can sit this one out. Happy to work w/ almost any other GOP that aren’t trying to get me killed.” Ocasio-Cortez was acting “hysterical” when she accused Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) of trying to get her killed. Hysterical is not a strong enough word!

Under the ineffective and failed stewardships of New York Democrats Governor Andrew “The Turk” Cuomo and Mayor Putz himself, William “Bill DeBlasio” Wilhelm, Jr., both pushed the no-bail nonsense. So, in New York City, shooting incidents spiked 73% in May compared to the same time in 2020, and in June are up 107% compared to two years ago. The city is experiencing a 52% spike in homocides, which is more than at this time two years ago. Bias crimes have nearly doubled in the city over the past year. Hate crimes against Asians have increased 335% compared to last May, according to the New York Police Department. A breakdown of the bias motivation of religious-biased offenses showed: 60.3% were anti-Semitic compared to 13.3% that were anti-Islamic. There were more than 800 incidents and offenses committed against 920 Jewish victims. The largest number of crimes against Jewish persons were acts of intimidation. Far-left progressives, such as the aforementioned Ocasio-Cortez, who advocate radical criminal justice reform policies like “defund the police” claim abolishing traditional policing systems will benefit minority communities. On what planet?

With the uptick in crime over the last six months, which is a carryover from Summer 2020, it’s a frightening thought as to what levels of violence will be experienced Summer 2021 in the aforementioned Democratic run cities. One of the prime examples of a city under siege for the longest time is Portland, Oregon. Residents of the city maintain that the local government’s response largely allowed the violent riots that has contributed to this widespread sentiment: “There seems in the last year to be this permission to do violence.” The “woke” local government allowed much of the property destruction and violence to go unpunished. And no intervention from the Biden administration.

The truth states that Hispanic and Black communities aren’t buying what radical, far-left Democrats are selling. In a recent poll, 81% of people in lower socioeconomic areas want the same, if not more law enforcement in their neighborhoods. But the orthodox, radical extremists of the socialist liberal left adhere what is good for them…in other words, “the needs of the few, outweigh the needs of the many”…with apologies to Mr. Spock. The phenomenon of minority voters rejecting the ideology and policy agenda of progressive Democrats is not something reserved to New Yorkers.

Riots rocked Portland throughout 2020 and have continued in 2021. While some peaceful protesters advocate for justice and peace, agitators from two identified domestic terrorist organizations have escalated dozens of these protests into violent riots, doing more than $23M in damage to businesses in downtown Portland. After more than 100 consecutive days of riots last year, Portland’s reputation has crashed. According to the Urban Land Institute, in 2017 the city was the third most desirable real estate market in the U.S. This year, it dropped to 66th. One local TV station, KOIN, is now asking, “Is Portland Over?” The mayor’s office claims much of downtown’s plight can be blamed on the pandemic, which is absurd. Mayor Ted Wheeler’s budget included $5.7M for a citywide cleanup, graffiti removal and a program to provide jobs for homeless people, but it also includes a call to defund the police department by another $3M. I wonder how the citizens of Portland feel that their thin blue line has just gotten thinner. As for Mayor Wheeler all he needs to do is look in the mirror for the escalation and continuance of the riots.

The Portland budget was recently approved by city council, despite a recent poll showing that a majority of Portland residents reject the push to diminish police presence in the city. Again, it’s the will of the few outweighing the will of the many.

There were predictions that the riots and violence would subside with the changeover in presidential administration. Yet, as the riots continue in Democratic run cities, Biden has failed to address the violence that has seen the destruction of both private and public property, gun fire from domestic terrorist organizations, the taking over of large swathes of property to serve as central points for the rioters, theft from commercial establishments and attacks upon local low enforcement. President Donald John Trump sent in federal law enforcement which quieted down some of the violence. Additionally, during his presidential campaign, the Biden/Harris organization actually bailed people out who rioted and assaulted law enforcement. Police officers put their lives on the line every day to protect our communities, but they are being demonized by the media and the left. Even as crime surges in many cities in America, Representative Cori Bush (D-MO) plans to introduce legislation that would replace police officers with “community-led first responders.” Ghostbusters!

Biden and United States Attorney General Merrick Garland recently commented about combatting rising violent crime in Democratic cities by tackling “gun violence,” which is code for more gun control. The White House released a statement that the

“Biden-Harris Administration will be announcing a comprehensive strategy to combat gun violence and other violent crime. This strategy implements preventative measures that are proven to reduce violent crime, and attacks the root causes – including by addressing the flow of firearms used to commit crimes. As the President has repeatedly said, we are experiencing an epidemic of gun violence in this country.” Biden’s strategy of targeting firearms rather than criminals who use them illegally to commit crimes is facing ongoing heavy criticism. Just think of the couple from St. Louis who defended their home and were facing gun charges from the local Soros funded district attorney. As far as the “root causes,” which is apparently the best means to circle back, it doesn’t take a Sherlock Holmes to determine the root causes of the violence and the means to suppress it.

What the summer of 2021 holds in New York City, Philadelphia, Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles and Chicago and other Democratic run cities remains to be seen. It’s a safe bet that Biden will out Nero Nero as Rome burned. Yet instead of addressing the violence committed by domestic terrorists, the Biden administration is focusing on injuring the American citizen at the behest of the orthodox, radical extremists of the socialist liberal left.

White House press secretary Jen Psaki is once again proving to be delusional as her boss. She engaged in a contentious back-and-forth with a Fox News reporter during which Psaki defended accusations that the Republican Party defunded police. More unbelievable words! Recall that it was the radical extremists of the socialist liberal left who supported the “defund the police” campaign during racially charged protests last summer. The White House is working on the message that Republicans voted to defund the police, therefore making them responsible for the nationwide spike in violent crime. Imagine that!

So, it’s an accepted fact that Biden, as Australia’s Sky News Alan Jones states, is “cognitively delinquent.” A bloody embarrassment! And if one of our strongest allies sees Biden in that light, just imagine what our adversaries are doing! Laughing their asses off at this clusterfuck of a President and administration! Who controls Biden and the administration? Well, it ain’t him…or her!

And thank a cop! They are the first line of defense of civility!
