As Biden, Obama and Bubba Clinton blatantly ignored the wake for murdered Police Officer Jonathan Diller, Patrol Borough Queens South, NYPD, in order to attend a Democratic elitist campaign fundraiser with $500K tickets. As payback, anti-Israeli protesters interrupted all three formers. On the flip side, former President Donald John Trump stood tall and took the time from his campaign schedule, and from the selective progressive prosecution he’s facing, in order to attend the wake and pay his respects. Trump met with PO Diller’s wife, family and his son. He said the senseless line-of-duty death of PO Diller must not be in vain, telling The New York Post in an exclusive interview that “something has to come of it.” Additionally, “What happened is such a sad, sad event, such a horrible thing,” Trump told reporters after paying his respects. Trump reportedly paid off the family mortgage. And on the day of the funeral, the former president sent flowers, much more than from the governor or Joenochio.
And not one of the three former presidents addressed the murder of this police officer. Shame on them as they passed up an opportunity to display some solidarity with law enforcement, but Biden’s indoctrinated, radical, progressive socialist base won’t let him support the police. Not even a phone call to the family from SlowJoe, who did call Mayor Eric Adams to pass on his condolences. As for NYSAG Letitia James and the NYC Council…well they also, most definitely, share culpability for the damage they have done to the New York legal system. James sat smirking in court during the bogus Trump civil trial instead of doing her job, which is lacking just the same. Diller and his partner were engaged in a “routine” car stop according to the dregs of the mainstream media. Yet, while the mutts’ vehicle was illegally parked in a bus stop, nothing is ever routine. When the shooter opened fire, Diller was hit below the vest, but managed to return fire. Both recidivist mutts were collared, the shooter(21 priors) and the driver(14 priors), who were then charged. They were out on bail because of New York State’s failing no cash bail system. They both had long criminal careers and should have remained incarcerated…
…And now they will, at the cost of a young family man’s life in the service of New York City. The police lost a brother. A family lost a son and brother. The NYPD lost a brother. The wife lost her husband and sadly, a one year old son will never get to know his father.
As for NYS Governor Kathy Hochul, shame on her for being tardy in addressing this tragedy, since she is culpable. Yes, she did show up for the wake on the second day, approximately 1:45PM. However, in an interesting twist, Hochul was asked to leave PO Diller’s wake ten minutes after she arrived. As reported by the Post, Hochul was confronted by an unknown man in a black suit, who gestured while speaking intensely. Police officers nearby applauded.
By turning Hochul away from the wake, this was just as effective when former Mayor DeBlasio and his entourage walked through the third-floor corridor of Brooklyn’s Woodhull Hospital, where PO Rafael Ramos and PO Wenjian Liu who had been essentially assassinated, were pronounced dead hours earlier. Dozens of NYPD police officers silently turned their backs on the mayor in protest for his perceived lack of support for them. Earlier, DeBlasio had approached a group of police officers in the hospital and told them, “We’re all in this together.” In response, one officer said, “No we’re not.”
As reported by the NY Post, Sergeants Benevolent Association President Vincent Vallelong stated that anti-police politicians were not welcome to PO Diller’s funeral. The NYC Council members who are adamant and inexplicably opposed to the public’s safety are responsible for the “carnage in the streets and the heartbreak brought about by PO Diller’s completely avoidable death.” These are the same socialist progressives who were pontificating the defunding of law enforcement and the shrinking of the roster of active duty personnel and civilian administrative personnel. Should any of the City Council members show, which I doubt… Mayor Adams did show, especially as a retired precinct commander.
One last thing, Hochul and James asked to speak at PO Diller’s funeral and was denied. For those two radical, progressive liberal politicians attending the funeral would simply been a photo opportunity and empty, hollow meaningless words. Former President Donald John Trump was invited. On an interesting side note, on the way back to Florida, he stopped at All-American Burger and spent $200.00 on hamburgers, hot dogs, onion rings and fries for his staff. The order was done in ten minutes. All-American is a Long Island go to burger joint.
As reported by the NY Post, “It’s really dark without him,” Stephanie Diller tearfully told Timothy Cardinal Dolan, as she tenderly spoke of her husband and tore into elected officials for allowing crime in NYC to spiral unchecked, as an estimated 10,000 people gathered on Long Island to salute her husband at his funeral. During the eulogy, PO Diller’s widow made a plea for changes to protect police officers and keep violent felons off the streets. This was directed at those who are directly responsible…Biden, Hochul, James, judges, politicians and attorneys who support the radical, Democratic progressive, soft on crime agendas. Not only here in New York, but throughout the country.
While the temperatures usually ride high between law enforcement and assorted sections of society, and I am not saying that every police officer is virtuous and righteous, but an overwhelming number of them go to work everyday enforcing the law, keeping the public safe, dealing with skell lowlifes, life and death situations and just want to go home after their shifts to be with their families. How would you feel if you sent a spouse, sibling or any family member out the door each day knowing that there’s the possibility of a serious injury, or even death, during the execution of their sworn responsibilities? And the reward is a street sign with your name.
The anti-police rhetoric got real hot in July, 2016, when five Dallas police officers were murdered during a protest. Dallas police officer Terrance Hopkins remembered the night of July 7, 2016, with horrifying clarity. “This is one of those situations where you’re being fired upon and you don’t even know where it’s coming from, you’re almost like a sitting duck,” Hopkins said. On that grim day, “social justice activists” led a nonviolent march through the streets of downtown Dallas, protesting the recent police killings in Baton Rouge, Louisiana and the Minneapolis-Saint Paul area.
On that night, a single gunman attacked five law enforcement officers: Lorne Ahrens, Michael Krol, Michael Smith, Brent Thompson and Patrick Zamarippa, who were killed and with many injured, including civilians.
As the rhetoric was stoked, Obama’s political opponents rightfully hopped on after news emerged that a gunman had killed five police officers in Dallas. JihadBarry focused on gun control during his overseas trip to Poland, with his rather uncomplimentary treatment of the law enforcement community. During his speech, Obama remarked “that when people are armed with powerful weapons, unfortunately it makes it more deadly and more tragic, and in the days ahead we are going to have to consider those realities as well.” Was it really necessary to become political? Obama lit the fuse that resulted in an explosion of hate directed towards the police, along with a disproportionate condemnation by the bootlicking, dregs of the corporate mainstream media.
And in connection with the rising crime rates across the board, Democratic leaders were pushing a nationwide movement to defund law enforcement. So, as police budgets were slashed, recruitment classes were cut, retirement papers filed, better job opportunities and resignations, served to lower the active workforce of departments across the country. The NYPD once had an active roster of over 36,000, which was divided into major bureaus for enforcement, investigations, and administration. There were also 19,000 civilian employees.
NYPD pension data showed that as of November, 2023, a total of 2,516 NYPD officers had left so far that year, the fourth highest number in the past decade and 43% more than the 1,750 who hightailed it in 2018, before the Draconian Communist Chinese pandemic and crime spikes hit the city. Mayor Eric Adams, a retired precinct commander as previously mentioned, stated that five rookie classes were cancelled. That removes approximately 2,000 replacement officers.
One Democratic city that is essentially under siege from the criminal element is our nation’s capital, Washington, DC. Representative Henry Cuellar(D-TX) was robbed and carjacked at gunpoint in the Navy Yard neighborhood of Washington, where multiple members of Congress live.
Additionally, a FBI agent, FBI?, was carjacked in Washington, D.C., a theft that comes amid a sharp increase in the number of carjackings in the nation’s capital. The vehicle contained the agent’s body armor and FBI radio. To that end, Representative Eric Burlison(R-MO) said some of his congressional colleagues are so terrified of the runaway crime in the nation’s capital that they sleep in their offices for fear of being attacked or murdered on the streets. Burlison added that he doesn’t want to walk back and forth from his apartment in D.C. at night or in the early morning to get to work. It’s not a safe environment.
Denouncing the destruction of “Democrat-run cities” throughout America, former President Donald John Trump vowed to take over the running of Washington, D.C., which he has lamented is living a “nightmare of murder and crime.” Those are big words, with a correct idea, but I am not sure of the reality.
Let’s review Biden’s stance on defunding the police: As the Democratic nominee Biden said he would redirect budgeted police money to non-police areas. In other words, he supported the defunding of the actual policing and law enforcement. Joenochio then contradicted himself claiming that he did not believe that the police should defunded and that he would give more money. Then we have the nimrods from the anti-Semitic, anti-Israel, anti-American, anti-police squad who pushed for defunding the police by comparing them to the KKK and the Nazis. As reported by the New York Post, of November, 2023, the former barkeep, Representative Sandy Ocasio-Cortez(D-NY)and her eight-comrade “squad” of anti-police lawmakers have shelled out more than $1.2 million in campaign funds on private security since taking office, records show. Leading the way is Representative Cori Bush (D-Missouri), who has reportedly spent more than $730,000 on private security – including $75,000 she funneled to her own husband – and Ocasio-Cortez whose $272,000+ includes security upgrades at her district offices.
During a House Judiciary Committee meeting, then Representative Mike Johnson(R-KY) debated Representative Jerry “Highpants” Nadler(D-NY) regarding Nadler’s stance on defunding the police. Johnson quoted Nadler: “ There should be substantial cuts to the police budget.” Johnson added that over $1B was cut from the NYPD and Nadler agreed that he had said it. Nadler went on to say that the cuts to law enforcement must be given to mental health. And Nadler, who is from New York City and represents the 12th District, which covers the Upper West Side, the Upper East Side and all of midtown Manhattan, stated that the crime rates have gone down in NYC and is the safest big city in the country. They went back and forth regarding the testimonies of witnesses who were victims of various kinds of criminal activity. Johnson then asked Nadler if he felt safe walking the streets of NYC. Of course Nadler would feel safe and for two very good reasons: 1-Nadler will have personal bodyguards and 2-He’s unable to walk because of his girth..Highpants is rather on the hefty size. Nadler is one prime example for term limits…he’s a washed up, second rate hack blowhard.
Furthermore, radical, progressive Chicago Mayor Brandon Johnson(D) insisted that he “inherited” the city’s ongoing migrant crisis and accused conservatives of unfairly labeling Chicago as a crime-ridden city. However, according to the most recent year-to-date statistics from the Chicago Police Department, overall crime complaints have surged by 19%, motor vehicle theft has shot up 47%, and robbery has gone up 25%. And former Chicago Mayor Lori Lightfoot(D) was facing the same issues, but actually turned down Federal police assistance offered by former President Donald John Trump. Additionally, the CPD are not permitted to pursue, either on foot or by radio car, criminals, which has helped the spike in crime, including the $1000.00 persecution threshold and no cash bail. And the Chicago Police Department is not permitted to do the job thanks to liberal, progressive Democratic policies…the same in Portland, Seattle, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Houston, Philadelphia, the aforementioned Chicago and New York City.
Numerous members of the NYPD upper echelon have sadly reported: “Cops are leaving. Morale’s bad. Absolutely no respect for the commissioner. If the DA won’t write out a charge and no claim’s forthcoming, an officer could be liable for a civil suit. Inspection divisions claim cops stand on post but do nothing.” Can the NYPD field officers be blamed as they feel nothing but contempt and abandonment regarding the current attitudes towards law enforcement?
In NYC, during the 2023 calendar year, one third of all shoplifting was committed by ONLY 325 people. That’s a very specific group carrying out the shoplifting on a day in and day out basis. And at this point, there’s very little evidence that these perpetrators are actually being targeted by law enforcement. Essentially this is what happens when the mooks are not inculcated when they are just issued a desk appearance ticket.
Former President Donald John Trump has long railed against the defunding the police movement and “Marxist” attacks on law enforcement, but he is vowing to take his “law and order” platform to a new level, protecting police from lawsuits to protect America’s citizens, especially in “Democrat-run cities,” Trump vowed. “Our police and law enforcement has to come back, and they want to come back, and they want to do their job,” Trump continued. “And we are going to indemnify them so they don’t lose their wife, their family, their pension, and their job.
And everyone, with a modicum of common sense can see the universal thread connecting these cities: the governing bodies of both the states and the cities are run by radical, socialist, progressive Democrats. Moreover, these politicians are out of touch with their constituents, except when they return to their districts or states to once again make empty campaign promises. Despite the result of the empty promises, even though the locals bitch about the issues in their cities, will vote Democrat again and again, while still complaining. Well, you get what you vote for!
And I didn’t fail to mention the shameful 400% increase in anti-Semitic crimes and outrageously vicious protests in large cities that have resulted in damage to both private and public property. Additionally, as the radical, progressive, indoctrinated Democratic protesters carried on, numbers of police officers were injured attempting to keep law and order. But these elite college students are going to face lack of employment and embarrassment in the future.
Moreover, with Biden’s hideous open border policies, the illegal aliens have been transported to Democratic self-declared sanctuary cities and have essentially trashed the budgets of each city in order to give them free entitlements. And as the Democratic mayors and governors are requesting Federal funding, DementiaJoe has a deaf ear. As the crime rates spiked, the woke, progressive local governments are still weakening their police departments. As a matter of fact the New York City Council voted that officers must document even level one stops.
Most alarmingly, as reported by The New York Post reported that a total of 1,286 NYPD officers were injured in battles with mutts/perpetrators/suspects over the last quarter of 2023, bringing the final annual tally to a record 5,363 injured cops, department data shows. Radical protests, an influx of criminal illegal aliens (thanks to Biden’s immigration policy), no cash bail, anti-cop rhetoric (defund the police) and soft-on-crime prosecutors (Manhattan DA Alvin Bragg) lights the match that fuels the dangerous and disturbing trend.
So, the following quote is overwhelmingly applicable to the people who repeatedly vote for the Democratic Socialist Progressive Party, which has been misattributed to Albert Einstein: “The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting a different result.” Believe it or not the quote comes from a 1981 Al-Anon help book.
