Former Representative Peter King(R-NY) represented parts of Long Island from 1993-2021. He was the Ranking Member of the House Homeland Security Committee and made a couple of astute observations regarding NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani. He stated that Mamdani is a danger to New York, particularly Jewish New Yorkers. Former Governor David Paterson(D-NY), who is Black, believes that Mamdani is the 21st Century equivalent to former Governor George Wallace(D-AL), who was an ardent segregationist. Paterson believes that Mamdani’s empty, but vicious attacks on Israeli PM Benjamin Netanyahu make people on “the edge” more likely to commit violence, especially against the Jewish Community in New York. Paterson is calling on the DOJ to investigate whether Mamdani is inciting anti-Jewish violence. Remember Paterson’s words.

Mamdani, an avowed Israel critic, has faced mounting criticism from Jewish leaders to tone down his rhetoric, including his recent comments referring to AIPAC as “monsters” and calling Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu a “war criminal” and the “architect of a horrific genocide against the Palestinian people.” Not surprisingly, no condemnation of Hamas for October 7.

“The offspring of the privileged have dominated the leadership of Marxist movements from the days of Marx and Engels through Lenin, Mao, Castro, Ho Chi Minh and their lesser counterparts around the world and down through history. The sheer reiteration of the “working class” theme and Marxism has drowned out this plain fact.” Dr. Thomas Sowell, Senior Fellow at Stanford University’s Hoover Institute.

So, let’s consider the background of NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani. He’s from a privileged, highly successful family, something Mamdani himself has acknowledged. It’s obvious, like most children, he was influenced by his parents. His mother is acclaimed filmmaker Mira Nair (Monsoon Wedding, Mississippi Masala); his father is Mahmood Mamdani, a prominent scholar of colonialism and professor at Columbia, who is an ardent anti-Semite, anti-Zionist and is anti-US. And as the whole world is aware, the mayor is a devoted member, and one face of the Democratic Socialists of America, which by all appearances is predominantly white. And my guess is that the DSA constituency attended elite universities, such as those that violently protested Israel defending herself, and came from wealthy, privileged left wing families. Research the former bartender known as Sandy Ocasio-Cortez or Cea Weaver, Mamdani’s tenant advocate. More about her later. So, in a nutshell, the DSA is flooded with nepo-babies!

The New York City Council held a public hearing on Mamdani’s socialist money grab. Not one member of his cabinet was there in attendance. Administration officials failed to testify during the City Council’s hearing, hiding them from publicly facing tough questions about their implementation of the controversial new levy on luxury second homes. Mass doxxing of city property owners was such a PR clusterfuck that Mamdani’s staff boycotted the aforementioned City Council’s hearing about the pied-à-terre tax rollout, unbelievably claiming that it couldn’t let anyone speak about an issue that’s the subject of an active lawsuit. Angry and frustrated New Yorkers testified that Mamdani’s botched rollout of the new pied-à-terre tax left them searching for answers, while feeling under “direct attack” from the government. That’s socialism!

His campaign promises included rent freezes for rent-stabilized apartments; fare-free buses..not in the MTA budget; universal/free childcare; city-owned grocery stores…angering local bodegas owners; higher taxes on wealthy people and corporations…which is resulting in a mass exodus; and greater government intervention and interference in housing and public services, such as socialist governments do. In order to accomplish what he has promised, the little socialist has threatened to raise taxes on the “rich,” who pay an overwhelming share of the tax burden of New Yorkers. And let’s not forget the pied-a-terre tax that Mamdani has pushed on NYC residents, with the support of Governor Kathy Hochul(D). This is nothing more than a simple money grab to fund what Mamdani promised. The pied-a-terre tax will more than double property taxes of properties owned by many wealthy apartment and home owners, along with the middle class, who are not of the 1%. As for the universal childcare, the original estimated cost was $6B, but the real figure is closer to $9B…all taxpayers’ money. And the first seats are open to government employees…makes one wonder! This is a prime example of the socialist pyramid…the powerful few are at the top and there is the trickle down.

Jewish liberals continue to be our own worst enemies and hypocrites. As the National Socialist German Workers’ Party was coming into power in the late 1920’s, educated liberal Jewish Germans supported the NAZI’s rise to power in the Weimer Republic government…and we know how that turned out. Now, modern day educated Jewish liberals had supported the failed and corrupt Biden administration, who continued Obama’s anti-Semitic, anti-American and anti-Israel stance, while flooding states like Michigan and Minnesota with Muslim-centric communities. Additionally, one of his campaign promises had Biden vowing to directly fund terrorism, Hamas and the PLO, while supporting the murder of Christians, Jews and the destruction of Israel and other religious artifacts, (which is the wish of Omar, Tlaib and Obama). Biden saw fit to resume funding to Hamas-supportive groups as well as the PLO. The PLO has consistently been classified on as a major terrorist organization, which was created by the known terrorist, Yasir Arafat, while still operating today under the same mission of “driving all Jews into the sea.”

The mayor’s continuing controversies are his ardent support for Palestinian advocacy, which has been a major part of his politics for years. He supports the BDS movement and has called the Palestinian cause central to his identity. He says Israel has a right to exist, but when specifically asked about the right to exist as a Jewish state, Mamdani has declined to endorse that formulation, saying a state should have “equal rights for all.” But he has been quoted as saying that while he has no problem with Israel’s existence, he didn’t want Jewish communities inside the country.

It remains fascinating that members of the radical progressive left, the LGBTQ community, and other components of the anti-Israel, anti-Zionist, antisemitic movement, constantly refer to Israel as an apartheid state. Yet identify which country in the Middle East has no issue with other religions in their government, in their court system as judges, welcomes people from other countries openly and has zero issue with the gay and lesbian population. What would happen to the gay and lesbian population in Muslim countries? What countries have permitted workers to cross their border, as the Israeli did with the population from Gaza. The reason I’m calling that area Gaza and not Palestine, is because Palestine never existed. The most ridiculous thing in the current political climate is “Gays for Palestine.” Don’t these people realize that they would be killed by either being stoned or thrown off a building simply because of their sexual preference. But not in Israel. And these blind fools support Mamdani and his anti-Israel stance. As far as with the gays for Palestine, that’s as insane as the chickens cheering for Colonel Sanders.

Since the cowardly and hideous October 7, 2023 sneak attack against Israel conducted by Hamas, with the backing of Iran, the hateful rhetoric spewed from the radical, progressive left, supported by US elite universities, supported by the bootlicking dregs of the legacy mainstream media, and the Biden administration, concerned the phrase “globalize the intifada” and “From the River to the Sea.” During the 2025 campaign, Mamdani repeatedly declined to condemn the slogan, arguing in one interview that “the role of the mayor is not to police language.” Jewish organizations and politicians argued that “intifada” evokes the Palestinian uprisings and terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians. Mamdani later modified his approach and said he would discourage use of the phrase, after conversations with Jewish New Yorkers about how they perceived it. Big talk.

Yet his wife, Rama Duwaji, supported a social media post claiming Hamas’ rapes of Israelis during October 7 terror attacks were a “mass hoax.” As reported by the NY Post, one post the Duwaji liked was claiming Israel is waging a “vile land grab” and another claiming pro-Palestinian protesters who took over a Columbia University building in 2024 are “on the right side of progress.”Duwaji also reportedly liked the post calling on the International Criminal Court to issue an arrest warrant for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, whom her husband had said he’d have arrested if he came to NYC under his watch. She supported another post stating that Israel-friendly politicians are a legacy to genocide.” No arrest is imminent.

Israeli women’s rights advocate Ayelet Razin Bet Or said Duwaji’s dismissal of the rapes “is nothing short of a slap in the face to survivors and to women everywhere. Denying or trivializing these crimes is not a political position,” said Bet Or, co-founder of The Dinah Project. “It is an assault on the dignity of victims and on the global struggle to recognize sexual violence as a weapon of war.” And not surprisingly, not a peep from the anti-Semitic socialist mayor.

As reported by NY Jewish Week, Ofir Akunis, the Counsel General of Israel in New York and a former spokesperson for Netanyahu likened Mamdani’s anti-Israel rhetoric to the methods used by Nazi Germany, at an event for young Jewish community leaders, Israel National News reports. “The mayor is busy inciting against and promoting a boycott of the Jewish state. His method is the ‘well-known’ antisemitic one: ‘No matter what, blame the Jews.’ This is exactly the same method that was used a century ago by the Third Reich,” Akunis said. “Data released by the NYPD points to a sharp increase in antisemitic hate crimes since he took office. This is further proof of his failure to protect the city’s Jewish community. Mamdani continues to incite and fuel his supporters to attack the State of Israel and its Prime Minister. This must stop before it is too late.” As reported by the NYPD Hate Crime Unit, during the first seven months of the calendar year 2026, anti-Jewish hate crimes increased by 8.5%.

Before, during and after his mayoral campaign, Mamdani’s earlier rhetoric was considerably more radical than his current modified position. During the George Floyd protests in 2020, he called the NYPD “racist” and said “Defund this rogue agency.” By the 2025 mayoral campaign, he had backed away from defunding the police, supported maintaining police staffing and ultimately apologized to NYPD officers for his earlier language. Yet, he cut the additional 5K additional police officers authorized by former Mayor Eric Adams. And it’s interesting to note the body language of NYPD Commissioner Jessica Tisch, who proudly wears her Star of David for all to see, when Mamdani is speaking.

With the 25th Anniversary of the September 11 attacks on the World Trade Center, the Pentagon and Flight 93 fast approaching, the families of New York’s First Responders and the victims who were murdered when the towers fell, are adamant that Mamdani be banned from the ceremony at Ground Zero, branding him an apologist for radical Islamic terror and whose presence would be an insult to the memories of nearly 3,000 people murdered. The families and survivors objection is based on his public record… his failure to meaningfully acknowledge the horror of that day, and his employment of, support for, or association with individuals who have minimized 9/11, defended terrorists, or even suggested America ‘deserved’ the attacks. Let’s not forget Representative Ilhan Omar’s (D-MN) comments regarding 9/11: “Some people did something.” Something else about Mamdani is his father, Mahmood Mamdani, has expressed support and sympathy for the suicide bombers.

It is quite obvious that any person who identifies as Jewish, or any connection to supporting Israel, is disqualified for any role Mamdani’s city government. Commissioner Tisch already had the job and is on par with Blue Bloods’ NYPD Commissioner Frank Reagan. Even Mamdani was forced to recognize a superior talent. Yet it does appear that should a candidate have ties to actual terrorists there is no bar to even a top position.City Hall says it rejected the one Jewish candidate it had considered for a panel that recommends potential judges on the grounds that John Leventhal had been an appellate lawyer for Ghislaine Maxwell and even “collected legal fees as such.” The mayor says he doesn’t want his judicial-assessment team tainted by the “loss of faith” in the legal system represented by someone in “the Epstein world.” However, the mayor’s chief counsel offers confidential, high-level legal and strategic guidance . Mamdani chose Ramzi Kassem, who has seemingly spent his career defending terrorists.

And take a gander at Cea Weaver, Mamdani’s tenant advocate. She has called to “seize private property” and blasted homeownership as a “weapon of white supremacy” in a series of pro-Communist social media posts and statements, urging her followers to elect more Communists in several posts on her now-deleted X account that were unearthed by internet detectives. Yet she lives in Brooklyn and reportedly is a squatter. Moreover, this hypocritical communist’s mother owns a Nashville house worth $1.6 million. Just reference the quote from Dr. Sowell at the beginning of this article regarding privilege.

As it stands right now, Jewish voters fear Mamdani is pushing the Democratic Party too far left, according to a new poll. What gave them that idea? A majority of Jewish voters… 72%… disapprove of Mamdani’s performance, contrasting with 67% of non-Jewish voters who approve of him, according to a new survey from Honan Strategy Group that was shared with The Jewish Insider.” And 61% of Jewish voters said the Democratic Party was moving too far left under Mamdani, while only 36% of non-Jewish voters said the same. But remember that 40% of Jewish voters voted for Mamdani and now they are regretting it.

The administration of the socialist NYC mayor may give out incentives and grants to local businesses, as entrepreneurs and owners have fears over competition from the mayor’s plans for city-run grocery stores. The vision for the city-operated stores, the plans for which were reportedly built on a $140 million math error, has been facing backlash from local business owners who fear that competition with the backing of the New York City taxpayer will have the ability to put them out of business. The local bodegas owners are terrified of losing their businesses and livelihoods.
Finally, as Mamdani continues to clearly demonstrate his hatred for New York City, his false interest in the welfare of NYC residents, his attempts at torpedoing the city’s real estate market, his attempts to crash Wall Street, his socialist policies to control and dictate how the city’s government controls each aspect of the city, his loathing of the NYPD despite his words and that cocky, arrogant, phony smile, dictates that he is an empty man, still on the campaign trail. Additionally, Duwaji, the mayor’s anti-US, anti-Israel wife, had decided to travel to two “Do Not Travel” countries, Syria and Lebanon, having floated the idea of the NYPD providing security that was summarily denied. Aside from putting the detail in harm’s way, why would she need a security detail in countries that she outwardly supports? Can you imagine the international disaster if members of the NYPD were kidnapped and held for ransom? She’s safe in the no travel countries.

And by the way, where are the Jewish members of the Democratic Party calling out Mamdani and the DSA for focusing their hideous behavior and hateful rhetoric towards Israel and the Jewish Community in the US? C’mon Chuckles Schumer! Where are you? You remain silent and nothing more than a “Kapo,” as you and other moderate Democrats worry about their jobs as Zohran Mamdani laughs at you and your political impotence.
Lastly, I grew up in Queens…one of the five boroughs for those who are unfamiliar with New York City. Approximately 28 years ago, my family moved to Nassau County and each and every day with the borderline insanity in the city makes me thankful for one of the smartest moves we ever made. Now the next step is to vote out Hochul, who is as hideous and weak as any governor New York has ever had. But I love where I live, except for the socialist and woke, liberal state legislature.
The End! Thank you for your attention to this matter.
