USSR 2.0? C’mon Man!

As the USSR continues their invasion of The Ukraine, DementiaJoe had made a completely stupid, and insensitive, remark as he gave his second solo White House press conference on the eve of the anniversary of his inauguration. Biden stated, “I think what you’re going to see is that Russia will be held accountable if it invades. And it depends on what it does. It’s one thing if it’s a minor incursion and then we end up having a fight about what to do and not do, etc.”

Did Biden allow this to happen to serve as a distraction from his butchering of the United Stated? Interesting possibility!

Despite the USSR’s “minor incursion,” which has grown into a full scale Nazi style “blitzkreig,” starting with Putin’s demands that The Ukraine, an independent democratic country, not join NATO. As the USSR’s military carries on their engagement on the ground, the Ukrainian people, both military and militia, are standing tall in defense of their country. There’s a distinct possibility that Putin is realizing that his invasion of a smaller country, with a military far smaller, is not going to be a walk in the park or end in a timely manner. Remember, Poland surrendered approximately six weeks after the Nazi blitz, along with Stalin’s USSR joining in, as the country was completely overwhelmed.

And in a dramatic escalation of East-West tensions the USSR’s invasion of The Ukraine, along The Ukraine’s stubbornness in holding off a far superior military power, Putin has ordered Russian nuclear forces put on high alert in response to what he called “aggressive statements” by leading NATO powers. The order means Putin wants Russia’s nuclear weapons prepared for increased readiness to launch and raises the threat that Moscow’s invasion of The Ukraine and the West’s response to it could boil over into nuclear conflagration. Hopefully Putin is seeing that he painted himself into a corner and is rattling his saber.

The escalation in Eastern Europe falls directly on the shoulders of Joenochio and the green new deal component of the orthodox, radical extremists of the socialist progressive liberal left and the four anti-American, anti-Semitic imbeciles from the squad. The Russians are no fools and very closely observed Biden’s cowardly retreat from Afghanistan. In a state of pure panic, and grossly underestimating the Taliban, DementiaJoe ordered that our military evacuate, in other words retreat, leaving American citizens and Afghans who helped us at the behest of the Taliban.

Don’t forget the $86 billion worth of equipment left behind, including helicopters, armor, assorted vehicles, uniforms and plenty of guns. And let’s not forget about the 13 members of the United States military that were killed at the Kabul airport by a homicide bomber who had just been freed from the Bagram Air Base stockade. DementiaJoe faulted the decision to have Taliban provide security for the airport “ on my own military leaders .” Well, it was reported that Biden ignored the recommendations by the Joint Chiefs, by Joint Chiefs.

Additionally, it’s a sure bet that Putin has seen what is going on at the southern border. The crisis at the border sees 2.2+ million illegal aliens illegally entering the US, with inordinate amount of methamphetamine & fentany. This is the most illegal border crossings ever. According to Custom and Border Protection, they have stopped people from over 200 countries at the southern border. Another demonstration of a weak and dysfunctional Biden administration.

Additionally, for months Biden, for a change, was partially correct when he said that the USSR would enter The Ukraine. And he stated that Putin and his oligarchs would face “stiff sanctions.” But instead of being proactive and issuing the sanctions months before Putin’s “minor incursion,” Biden and the European Union are now reacting to a situation that very well possibly could have been avoided. And the effects of the sanctions won’t happen overnight for Putin, his oligarchs and the failing USSR economy to feel the squeeze. The rubel is worth 1/10th of a penny.

There is a caveat to Biden’s sanctions against Russia: Oil and natural gas will continue to flow freely to the rest of the world and money will keep flowing into Russia. Following the USSR’s invasion of The Ukraine, DementiaJoe had to defend his decision to preserve access to Russian energy in order “to limit the pain the American people are feeling at the gas pump.” However, economic analysts maintain that excluding the industry at the heart of the Russian economy essentially limits the sanctions and could encourage Putin. The “pain” that Biden is referring to is the nearly 100% increase in gasoline prices at the pumps in American service stations. In January 2021, gas was $2.20/gallon. The day after Biden shut down the Keystone XL pipeline, along with drilling on government land, the US went from energy independent to energy dependent. The last time prices were this high was 2014. I don’t have to tell anyone who was POTUS and VPOTUS!

I was told by an old friend that you need to learn something new everyday or it was a waste. I never heard of “SWIFT.” The SWIFT system, or “Society for Worldwide Interbank Financial Telecommunication,” facilitates financial transactions and money transfers for banks located around the world. The system is overseen by the National Bank of Belgium and enables transactions between more than 11,000 financial institutions in more than 200 countries around the world at any given time.

How would sanctions involving the USSR work? Good question! Want a good answer? Without access to SWIFT, Russia and its financial institutions would be effectively cut off from most international business transactions. For example, Russia would be unable to secure profits from international sales of its oil and gas production, deals that comprise more than 40% of the country’s revenue.

However, Biden and the members of the EU, are selectively identifying the parts of SWIFT that apparently will have some effect on the Russian economy. The accounts that are not facing sanctions are the ones focusing on the USSR’s energy industry. So far, it’s business as usual. So as Putin reigns havoc on The Ukraine, the military-industrial arm of his economy is still selling oil and gas on the global market. In other words, it’s business as usual in Moscow. It’s fair to ask who’s controlling the energy market in Eastern Europe.

As for the United States, and with the midterms right around the corner, the GOP hope to get control of The Congress and try to undo the damage Biden and the radical extremists of the socialist progressive left has inflicted upon the country, specifically the middle class. I can pretty much guarantee that one political strategy that they will try is to blame President Donald John Trump for the conflict in The Ukraine and how “well” he spoke of Putin. And let’s not forget Obama’s conversation with the Russian ambassador on a hot mic just before the 2012 election…”Tell Vladimir that I will more flexible after the election.” Collusion!

In February, 2008, during the tenure of President George W. Bush, a conflict pitted 70,000 Russian troops against Georgia’s army of about 10,000 soldiers and another 10,000 reservists. Fortunately the “war” did not last long, as it was over by August 12. In response to the USSR’s invasion of Georgia, the French, with support of the United States and its European allies, helped broker a ceasefire agreement, which gave the USSR approximately 25% of Georgia.

In March, 2014, during the failed tenure of Obama, the USSR invaded and annexed Crimea in February and the invasion stopped in March. This event was part of the ongoing Russia-Ukraine conflict, as well as an aftermath of the Revolution of Dignity in which the majority of Ukrainians and the parliament removed then Ukrainian and pro-Russian president Viktor Yanukovych from office. Putin wanted to maintain control of Crimea. Obama sent MRE’s and blankets.

In February 2022, during the dysfunctional and failing presidency of Joenochio, Putin ordered the invasion of The Ukraine, which is unfortunately, still going on. And as I said, this could have been prevented. Remember the words of former Secretary of Defense Robert Gates who stated, “In the 40+ years that I have known Joe Biden, he never got things right with his foreign policy “experience.” Oh bloody joy!

Of the four presidents during the 21st Century, only one kept the lid on Putin, the draconian Communist Chinese Republic, the little pork chop in NoKo and Iran….President Donald John Trump! Why you ask? Because he was not a politician and was unpredictable, as opposed to Bush, Obama and Biden, who were weak and predictable. So, when Biden “won,” Putin and Xi had to be foaming at the mouth with POTUSDJT out of the way.

The Eastern Mediterranean pipeline or simply “EastMed” was a planned offshore/onshore natural gas pipeline directly connecting East Mediterranean energy resources to mainland Greece via Cyprus and Crete. The project, currently in design, would transport natural gas from the off-shore gas reserves in the Levantine Basin into Greece, and in conjunction with the Poseidon and the Interconnector Greece-Bulgaria (IGB) pipelines into Italy and other European regions.

The EastMed pipeline was scheduled for completion by 2025, with an estimated cost of $6+ billion. However, in a similar manner to sabotaging the Keystone XL pipeline, DementiaJoe canceled US support of the EastMed pipeline. It’s obvious that he caved to the green new deal-climate change bullies by stating that the use of natural gas was “outdated!” Yet the USSR was permitted to finish the construction of the Nord Stream 2 pipeline, which transports natural gas to Europe through Germany. Just got to love the hypocrisy!

However, following the withdrawal of support from the United States in January 2022, it is likely that the EastMed pipeline will be cancelled and replaced with a more economically viable pipeline.

Yes, the climate change issue is still something to debate about. However, it seems that people from the radical, orthodox, extremist of the socialist liberal left have conveniently forgotten the $650M wasted by the Obama administration with the Solyndra fiasco. Solyndra was a California based solar panel manufacturer who received stimulus money and then went bankrupt within six months, sticking taxpayers for the loss, while lying to federal officials to secure the loan. The General Accounting Office advised against the loan, but Obama went around them. So Biden, as a puppet, parrots the same climate change agenda pushed by “The Squad,” and the “Clown Prince of Ketchup,” Obama’s former Secretary of State, and now Joenochio’s “Climate Czar,” John Kerry, he who travels by private jet. In a pathetic move, Kerry was complaining that climate change is being ignored because of the ongoing bloody conflict in The Ukraine.

What is ignored was that in the early 1970’s President Richard M. Nixon organized the EPA. Due to our technological advances, pollution is down 80% and we are ahead of plenty of countries, especially when President Donald John Trump pulled us out of the anti-American Obama Paris Accords. Technology has advanced the automotive industry to the point of zero emissions. Take a look at Biden, who has embraced the agenda and ideology of the radical left, as he continues to endorse the liberal, socialist agenda over quality and America first. Don’t forget that the radical Democrats want to “reimage” the economy. Biden stated that he was a moderate, but that has gone out the window.

There is a fascinating story going on in the major cities in the USSR, as Russian citizens are out in force protesting Putin’s invasion of The Ukraine. Unfortunately, the people protesting are being arrested and charged with treason for speaking out against the government. That people are being arrested is not a shock considering that their government is an authoritarian dictatorship. Demonstrators held pickets and marched in city centers, chanting “No to war!” as Putin ordered, as previously stated, Russian nuclear deterrent to be put on high alert, upping the ante in the Kremlin’s standoff with the West and stoking fears of a nuclear war. Stand tall NATO!

Putin is in charge and can do whatever he wants, without accountability. Let’s hope that the West will squeeze him dry, as The Ukrainians make them pay with Russian blood. I wonder how Russian families will react when their children come home in body bags for a “minor incursion” that was unnecessary.

One last word regarding the USSR invasion and Russian protests comes from tennis star Andrey Rublev who used his platform at the Dubai Championships to share his opinion as he wrote: “No war please” on a TV camera. Washington Capitals captain, and superstar, Alex Ovechkin told the press that he supported peace and “Please, no more war.” However, fearing retribution against family still in Russia, Ovechkin did not outwardly criticize Putin. Recall the long arm of Putin when NY Rangers star player, and Russian national, Artemie Panarin criticized Putin and had to miss one month of last season in order to address false accusations of sexually assaulting a woman ten years ago…by his former Russian coach.

The Ukraine-USSR conflict is on Biden, who Putin has played like an out of tune fiddle. Putin fully understands that DementiaJoe is experiencing failing cognitive abilities and is nothing more than a puppet for the radical, extremists of the socialist, progressive left. If the Keystone XL pipeline is opened and drilling is resumed, we can regain our energy independence and hurt the USSR where it hurts most, in the wallet. The Keystone XL pipeline produced approximately 850,000 barrels of oil per day, compared to Russian oil production at 530,000 barrels per day. It’s quite apparent that DementiaJoe cannot do the simple math and see who can control the market.

And one very interested observer is the draconian Communist Chinese Republic…focusing on Taiwan. Words are cheap Joe! C’mon man!
